ALASKAN MOOSE..........
"Just moments after you and your guide agreed that
a move further up the drainage would be better.... a moose
materialized from the brush that fringe a grove of spruce
trees. ....This animal looks like something left over
from the age of the dinosaurs!! Bigger than your SUV with
antlers that seem to resemble two sheets of plywood".
In our 28th year of conducting guided hunts for high quality
trophy bulls it is fair to say....
WE KNOW WHERE TO LOOK!! We have
the right personal and equipment to get the job done.
During this time we have seen populations fluctuate, laws
and seasons change and perdition have it's effects, but
through the 2005 season we have always maintained an average
antler spread well in excess of 60" and success at
between 80% and 90%.
3rd time SRL hunter Victor Roth took 68" SCI record
book bull,
8' grizzly. shot grouse over our dogs and got in some
quality fly fishing September 2008.
Steve Hindley (returning to SRL 2009) took great 65"
moose September 2008.

All trips are
limited participation, one hunter with one guide per camp,
unless the clients requests otherwise, or the hunt is booked
as a 2x1. Our employee to client ratio is usually well over
two employees per client with six clients per hunt.

Several pilot's, wheel & float equipped aircraft, experienced
moose guide,
meat packers, and lodge staff.
